Garden Frog ID help

Hi was just wondering if what type of frog this is? My son caught him in the garden, is he/she ok to keep as a 6yr old's pet in small aquarium?

Hi,

Your frog is a Peron's Tree Frog (Litoria peronii). They are well adapted to captivity and make great pets. However, in NSW, Vic and SA it is illegal to capture native frogs and keep them as pets. In Queensland I believe you may keep frogs as pets if they were found on your property, so I would check the relevant legislation for where you live.
